Iranian Shell Casing Headstamp and License Plate Analysis
The headstamps on a recovered DShK shell casings appear to be marked with the Persian words "DShK" (دوشکا), Defense Industries organization (DIO) ساصد / سازمان صنایع دفاع جمهوری اسلامی ایران and the Persian number 70 (۷۰). Since the primers on the shells were dented, this indicates the the shells were fired, possibly by a DShK machine gun. The DShK machine gun is an anti-material / anti-light armored vehicle machine gun firing a 12.7x108mm shell - something that is roughly the length of a man's hand. There is no use case for using this weapon against protestors.
